Any Solution for the "Famous" Concord Rear End Sag

Anyone have any solution for the famous rear end sag?

Years ago I had station wagon springs installed.... and that actually worked but now I noticed the driver side is sagging again!

Any ideas.. let me know!

When I had a Concord wagon, I chopped the front springs to match the sag of the rear springs.  ;D With 15x8 wheels and wide tires all around, it actually handled pretty darn good.

yep, drop the front to match. lower is such cooler ;D

First make sure the main leaf isn't bent/cracked. Then use a main leaf from an old pack with the eyes cut off in #2 position. Makes them sit right up!

'87 Comanche 4.0L AW4/NP242 3.73 gears, lifted 5" on near new 33" tires $3500 obo
'82 Eagle Wagon (Brown Betty) 4.2L/727/NP229 and soon 8.25 rear axle and non-vacuum 3.08 front to match. 235/75/15 tires. It's down to minor body work (someone creamed my driver's door but I have another in good shape) almost rust free and interior work (seats are worn and carpet torn). $2000 but about to go up due to more work being done.

I had some helper coil springs between the rear axle and the frame. It actually handled quite well. When I was younger, I drove a little too fast most of the time. One time I was a irritated with a slower driver and passed him just before getting off a highway. I realized I was going too fast but the Concord wagon drifted the whole offramp. I thought I was a goner and could just imagine what the other driver was thinking when a lowered black AMC Concord with yellow scallops swooped past him. I've got to find this pic again and scan it properly.
