« on: December 12, 2011, 12:57:26 AM »
I have a 1985 eagle , 4 door sedan.  No matter where I move the shift on the fly switch ,it is stuck in 4 wheel drive.  Any ideas.?

Has it been in 4WD since you bought it or is this just has something that just happened recently? Probably a bad shift motor on the transfer case or a bad vacuum line.

It has been since I bought it.  It has a tranny gasket leak. I replaced the gasket and it still leaked, I replaced the gasket again with another  pan and it still leaks. I had it up in the air and it was runnung in 4 wheel.  I would stop the car switch to 2 wheel and it stays in 4 wheel.  Any ideas?

If for some reason you lost your eagle, what would you replace it with?
