Should I pull the tach, gauges, gauge rally pack cluster and put that in my 87 Eagle?

I am teatering on the idea of giving my 87 Eagle the Gauge Rally Pack in from my 84 Eagle. I don't want to keep the 84 Eagle as it is for sale. Take the options out and make my keeper the 87 Eagle the one to have with the options. Correct year options as well mind you.  What to do?

if the tach is in working order I'd leave it be if it where my car.  Too many horror stories about tachs not working, but in the end it's your cars and your decision alone

After I checked and changed teh valve cover gasket on my 84 Eagle, the tach is acting goofy. Never used to. It parks at 700 RPMs. when the engine is off and doesn't read correctly now. I am stumped.

The ralley gages on these cars, especially after 27 years tend to be somewhat in accurate at best. However working or not I love the look of them and just for the sake of the cool factor i would swap em.

It would take some work, but I would love to keep the face plates of the originals and replace the voltmeter, and oil pressure gauge adn possibly vacuum gauge with new. Keep the original face plates on the new guages. Think I'll tackle this. I'm pumped.
