Just so you all know, this took me quite a bit of thought.  I've actually been thinking about this, since this topic was first posted - "So if you could afford anything, what would it be?"

I found what I would want.

The VIKING-2992.  It's a 4x4 amphibious vehicle that does incredible in the snow.  It can be driven on the road and off, cross lakes, deep snow, 4x4 is unreal, and it looks freaking cool.  (Eat your heart out, Hummer!)

The only thing I'm not crazy about is the fact the driver sits right in the middle of the car, but who really cares?  I want one.

Here's a You Tube video of this sucker.

My cousin had one and I would have to say a "67" black on black Standard Mustang Fastback.....One day I will own my dream car  ;D

I would even settle for a "56" Dodge Mayfair or a "70" Dodge Charger......

I no longer have an AMC Eagle, but I am still a fan.

After our fiasco with the Toyota Corolla I got for my wife I believe I am done with Japanese vehicles.

Dude you are preaching to a choir member that is close to becoming an AMC Minister if you know what I mean.

Not sure if I can get pictures posted or not. First choice, Mustang Boss 429. Second/third Mopar, Superbird or Daytona Charger. [
Superbird
]

Back in 94 I had a chance to buy a 70 Superbird 440 six pack 4 speed for $18000 or less.  At the time a nice Superbird was typically going for around $30,000  I had been to the bank a month earlier and asked them if they'd lend me money to buy a collector's Corvette and they said yes.  As I was looking for the Corvette I came across this Superbird and quickly decided that was a much better buy than the Corvettes I had been looking at.  I went into the bank and asked them for a loan for the Superbird.  They said they got the board together and none of them knew what a Superbird was and that they didn't think it would make a good investment so they weren't going to lend me money for it.  Superbirds regularly sell for over $200,000 now.  I still feel sick when I think of how those idiots robbed me, but I was dumb too, I should have gone to another bank to try for the loan again.

3 speed manual,
3 speed manual on a BIG block?
yup, off the showroom floor it was a V6 3 speed.  When I bought it someone had installed a small block 305 and it had a saginaw 4 speed tranny laying in the bed.  Once we installed the big block I ran it for a bit with the 3 speed then put the 4 speed in it but didn't like the way the truck launched so i went back to the 3 speed

I would really like to have an 83 Toyota trailblazer. I almost bought one of these but it was just in too bad of shape to pay 1800.00 for. Does any one know the link between the trailblazer and a rare eagle sedan???

I was gearing that question towards the Sundancer. The Trailblazer was a stock toyota pickup that was bought up by Griffith motor homes( the same griffith i believe converted the sundancer) and then converted to an suv after the fact. It would have been before the 4runner had come to be.

I've lined up against my buddys.
They are surprisingly quick for an SUV.
