Clips & Fasteners - Still Available
« on: April 19, 2012, 04:40:21 PM »

Here are a bunch of clips and fasteners that fit AMC Eagles.  If you are interested in any, please send me an email (larrymaria@gmail.com) and let me know the "item numbers" and how many sets you want.  I will give you a no-obligation total cost plus mailing.  I can lower the cost depending on how much you want to order.  If you have any questions, please email me.  Also, if you are looking for something that is not here, let me know and I will search my sources.

Item 21.  Extruded "U" Nut, 1/4-20.  Set of 4 for $3.00.  With 1/4 inch bolts, $3.50

While I am able find a lot of clips and fasteners that are matches for the ones used originally on Eagles, I can't find the ones for the roof strips.  However, the No. 7 in my advertisement will work.  You just take a pair of scissors and trim the base and it will slip in.  Very simple to do.  However, the stud size is larger so you would have to drill the holes in the roof a little larger and use the No. 5 tubular nut.   See the picture for an original one and my No. 7 trimmed and installed.  Above, the clip that has been modified is on the right.  The other two are for the trim for wheel mouldings.  Tennessee_Farmer

I have a fairly long list of your fasteners that I need. I will e-mail you the list and if you can give me the total price plus the shipping charges and your preferred method of payment, i will complete the order. Thanks.
