AMC Eagles Den
« on: July 23, 2013, 11:14:35 PM »
I am assisting amcconcord with cleaning/straightening things up around here and making changes that are suggested.  So you may see some subtle changes going for a while.  Feel free to tell amcconcord what you would like to see at this site.

We are also doing some cleanup around here.  If you find a post or thread that has been deleted let an admin know as WE do SAVE deleted posts/threads for later review before they are deleted for good.

And, if you were banned at the Nest.  Then get in contact with an admin and we will work with you to restore your account.  Maybe not your previous posts as those are probably lost (if they were deleted too) but at least you can get access once again.

It's what Steve would consider a imposter copy of the nest. This site Steve was banned from though.

I look at it as the leadership at the Nest parted ways, shutting the Nest down for a month. While it was down two different people raced to get the Nest back online and now we have two of the same forum with different names.

Both share the same user accounts except for the large number of banned Nest members who were restored to the Den after the split.

The new Nest has the original address but does not have all of the data. All posts from March to June 2013 are gone because the owner of the Den had control of the old Nest and its data during that period. Only the Den has all the missing posts but it cannot use the same name or address as the former Nest.

That's all ok by me, I will monitor and post on all three until one or more (if any) go away.  I actually like it here the best, as anything that Ken has a part in, I want to be a part of as well. I am just sad that there is not much action here. I am sure if the 'Nest goes away, the action here will pick up (and as more members find out about it)....Rich

I will continue to check in as well, it would be a shame to see no One use this forum after all of the time Ken put into it.

Hello,
Paula proulx here, how are you doing?
Hey Paula,  I am doing much better since knowing Ken is still with us.   It is nice to hear from you as well.   The last time we corresponded was Oct. 24 2012, and Ken was at CTCA.  It is so cool that you both are together and working to keep this forum going.  I for one would like an update (PM if need be) as to what your and Ken's plans are for the future of your AMC hobby.  I heard some news about having to sell some cars, and I am sure others would like to know what is happening, if you are able to share with us.  I just have to say to everyone else, that Ken and Paula are both very blessed. Ken is a walking miracle from God, and Paula is blessed to have him at her side.  Although I have never met these folks in person, the correspondence I have had with them (Paula mostly), makes me believe that they are the best people one could ever hope to meet.  Paula, I can't imagine what you (let alone Ken) have had to deal with these past couple of years with the ups and downs of Ken's physical well being.  From what I know about what has happened, from my perspective, you have handled it very well.  I know Ken has a lot of projects he wants to accomplish while he can, and I am anxious to hear more about them.  I think both of you are a huge asset to the AMC and specifically to the Eagle community, and I am thankful to be a small part of it as well.  I think I can speak for most everyone here, we are behind you and want to see all that you do succeed.  Please keep in touch, and don't be a stranger around here!....Rich

Very well written, rolllguy. You have stated my sentiments exactly. I join you and the others in the eagerness to hear more going forward.
